Liebster Award Nomination

Hello everyone! I apologize for lack of post for more than a month. I've been busy for something that I've always wanted to do ever since so I decided to focus on it.

I have been nominated by my fellow blogger Infinite Elegance for the "Liebster Award Nomination". Here are her questions (and my answers):

How did you get interested in Make up?

I was 9 years old when I saw my Moms lipstick and eyeshadow in her closet. I put some of it on my face and was amazed how it made my young face prettier. I have loved make-up since then but only got addicted to it a year ago when my office mate showed me a blog site full of beauty products. I hoarded make-up since then!

What are some of the staple products in your purse?

I used to put everything in my make-up kit but I can't live without foundation and lipstick.
What's your most expensive make up/skin care/fashion purchase so far?

The most expensive skincare I have bought so far is the Clinique 3 Steps to Skincare for Oily skin. I haven't finish the Moisturizing lotion till now.

Who/what inspired you to create your own beauty blog?

My kit full of make-ups inspired me to write or blog as well as the blogs that I continue to read until now.

What do you think sets you apart from other beauty bloggers?

I would allow my readers to answer that for me.

Who are your favourite make up gurus or bloggers? Why?

My favorite make-up Guru is Lisa Eldridge. Her make-up is simple but you can see the transformation on the models face. She makes make-up application easy, she's also a top make-up artist.

Do you have beauty no-nos? If so, what are they?

Yes, I don't use my fingers in getting make up products like foundation. I use a spatula, cleanliness and sanitation are important especially if you're doing make-up on other person.

What are your other interests apart from make up?

I'm also into hair styling. I plan to take hairstyling course in the future.

Do you believe that sometimes less is more?

Yes I do, but it also depends on other persons skin condition. More product is needed if there are more blemishes to hide or conceal.

Describe yourself in 1 word.

Mother.

New Bath Companion from Watsons

Who doesn't love taking a bath? I live in the Philippines where it's very humid and the temperature can go up to 60 degree Celsius or even higher during summer. I have bath-time essentials which I use on a daily basis. I just recently run-out of my favorite body wash from The body shop, I first thought of buying new ones from Daiso just to give it a try but I decided to check Watson's first. I know they have body essentials like lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and even mouthwash at a very reasonable price. Some items are on Buy-one Get-one promo. Watson's carry a lot of different products from head to toe. I have tried their mouthwash and Hair Spa. I must say that they work perfectly the same as the other brands with a higher price tag because of the expensive commercials and advertisements. My husband and I still use their mouthwash until now. Here are my new bath-time companion from Watson's. I currently use this deep moisturizing

Aido Classic Lipstick Review

Hello pretty ladies! Have you heard before about the local brand called Aido? I used to call it "I do" just because I want to make fun of myself and that makes the brand sounds a little bit more interesting hihihi. I was checking Fashion 21 cosmetics because I needed to buy new powder foundation. I noticed the lipsticks from Aido sitting there on Fashion 21 stall, that's when I realized they don't have their own. I swatched some of the colors specifically the pink ones because I'm looking for another pink lipstick and the color that I want from Maybelline is not yet available here in the Philippines. Instead of just swatching pinks I found myself checking as well the other shades but I ended up buying the shades N, K and B. It  doesn't sound good when lipsticks are named by letters, don't you think? The packaging looks like the old packaging of a lipstick that my Mom used to wear but it doesn't look cheap to me at all, in fact it reminds me Mode

Maybelline Clear Smooth B.B Stick

Hi Lovely ladies! It's been weeks or month since my last post, I've been pre-occupied with a lot of things but I always kept thinking about this blog and my readers. It's a sunny Thursday today and I'm hoping all of you are having a good day. I can't believe how time pass by so fast. Today I'm going to review a product by Maybelline called Clear Smooth B.B Stick . I've had this for more than a month and I use it when I'm going to the mall or just at home. I saw this babe when I was already making a payment at Watsons. It got my attention because I've never seen a B.B Cream made just like this. I know BB creams are in liquid form like foundation and I've seen a foundation stick but not BB Stick like this one. Maybelline claims: Clear Smooth BB Stick is a multi-benefit product that combines the benefits of skin care, make-up, and sun block in a stick. It contains salicylic acid that helps clear away pores and imperfections, and miner
