Avon Totally Kissable Lipstick Review

When I heard about the new line of lipstick from Avon I was totally ecstatic. I immediately called my sister and told her that I want to order. I have loved avon lipstick since I was in college. My first lipstick from this brand came from  their Colorbliss collection. I also have some of their Moisture Rich Rose lipstick which I'll be reviewing soon and Ultra Moisture  Rich lipstick.

I initially ordered Pink Wink but it was Out of Stock so I ordered what Anne Curtis was wearing in the brochure - Make Out Red. They were giving free Ideal Oil Control Pressed powder when I ordered but I wasn't able to take a photo because Igave it to my sister. What a deal, right?

"Full coverage color infused with fruit enzymes and a blend of natural oils. For softer, smoother, fuller lips".

Make out Red - With flash
I had a hard time opening the cap at first because it was tightly sealed. The packaging doesn't look cheap and I also like that it is in a silver color instead of the usual black.

When I first tried it on, I thought that it's just another Fushia lipstick that wouldn't suit me. I can see a hint of blue and orange undertone into it. It kinda change color from different angle. But don't get me wrong, this is not frosted. It's actually moisturing when applied and the color looks opaque at first swipe. After just a few minutes I started to like it. I can wear this with a cream or brown eyeshadow.

just one swipe
It feels rich but not creamy, it's also not sticky like the other lipstick I've tried. It has SPF 15 to protect your lips from the harmful rays of the sun. Applying lip balm before lipstick may not be necessary because of it's moisturization but if you have dry lips I suggest you apply lip balm or vaseline first to make it glide more easily. Staying power would be 2-3 hours if you wouldn't eat which is average on most lipstick. It will leave a slight hint of color even after eating but you would have to re-apply.

I got it for Php259.00 from an avon dealer (my sis) the regular price is Php399.00.

Will I repurchase? Yes but I want to try the other shades. Maybe I'll get a couple more.

New Bath Companion from Watsons

Who doesn't love taking a bath? I live in the Philippines where it's very humid and the temperature can go up to 60 degree Celsius or even higher during summer. I have bath-time essentials which I use on a daily basis. I just recently run-out of my favorite body wash from The body shop, I first thought of buying new ones from Daiso just to give it a try but I decided to check Watson's first. I know they have body essentials like lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and even mouthwash at a very reasonable price. Some items are on Buy-one Get-one promo. Watson's carry a lot of different products from head to toe. I have tried their mouthwash and Hair Spa. I must say that they work perfectly the same as the other brands with a higher price tag because of the expensive commercials and advertisements. My husband and I still use their mouthwash until now. Here are my new bath-time companion from Watson's. I currently use this deep moisturizing

Aido Classic Lipstick Review

Hello pretty ladies! Have you heard before about the local brand called Aido? I used to call it "I do" just because I want to make fun of myself and that makes the brand sounds a little bit more interesting hihihi. I was checking Fashion 21 cosmetics because I needed to buy new powder foundation. I noticed the lipsticks from Aido sitting there on Fashion 21 stall, that's when I realized they don't have their own. I swatched some of the colors specifically the pink ones because I'm looking for another pink lipstick and the color that I want from Maybelline is not yet available here in the Philippines. Instead of just swatching pinks I found myself checking as well the other shades but I ended up buying the shades N, K and B. It  doesn't sound good when lipsticks are named by letters, don't you think? The packaging looks like the old packaging of a lipstick that my Mom used to wear but it doesn't look cheap to me at all, in fact it reminds me Mode

Maybelline Clear Smooth B.B Stick

Hi Lovely ladies! It's been weeks or month since my last post, I've been pre-occupied with a lot of things but I always kept thinking about this blog and my readers. It's a sunny Thursday today and I'm hoping all of you are having a good day. I can't believe how time pass by so fast. Today I'm going to review a product by Maybelline called Clear Smooth B.B Stick . I've had this for more than a month and I use it when I'm going to the mall or just at home. I saw this babe when I was already making a payment at Watsons. It got my attention because I've never seen a B.B Cream made just like this. I know BB creams are in liquid form like foundation and I've seen a foundation stick but not BB Stick like this one. Maybelline claims: Clear Smooth BB Stick is a multi-benefit product that combines the benefits of skin care, make-up, and sun block in a stick. It contains salicylic acid that helps clear away pores and imperfections, and miner
