Monday FOTD

Good morning ladies! Looking forward to a bright new day today, I feel exhausted though because of work but it won't stop me from doing what I love. I want to show you my first FOTD on this blog. I attended an event yesterday (work related), here's the simple make-up look that I did.  Check my necklace. I got it for a very cheap price. Would you believe it cost only P69.00? This one is the first fashion necklace I've ever had, I swear!           I didn't use so much product on my face because I'd still be going to the office right after. Like my nails? I'm wearing Skin Food Nail Vita in number 20. The color is super orange which I love. You can see that I put very minimal make-up for an almost natural look. Below are the products I used. Ellana Make it last Make-up primer Covergirl Trublend Concealer Revlon Colorstay Foundation in Nude - I love this! Sophie Paris two-way cake foundation in Ivory - keeps oil at bay Nichido Eyebrow

Avon Ultra Moisture Rich Rose Lipstick Haul

Hello Ladies! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I felt excited during the weekend because I'll get to try  the new Avon UMR Rose lipstick (P199 intro price). It's the new lipstick from the UMR collection. What makes it different is the rose extract and almond oil. It's also more opaque, less glittery and promised to be more moisturizing I initially ordered 5 lipsticks because of their lovely colors but I only got two shades. Most of them are already out of stock. I guess more dealers are ordering because of the free Ideal oil control pressed powder (P250 original price) when you buy any UMR rose lipstick from Feb. 15-29, 2012 brochure. Here are the Photos and Swatches.                                                                 Left: Blushing Bride Rose     Right: Jubilee Rose With Flash   Without Flash Here are the photos of the Ideal Oil Control pressed powder in Neutral. I will post an FOTD wearing these new lipsticks in my upco

Sad but worth the read

I was browsing through facebook when I read this story. I remember reading this around 2 or 3 years ago, it didn't occurred to me that this will make me cry again and I think I should share it too.. The story was written by Ennaid Seyer. “When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I’ve got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes. Suddenly I didn’t know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly. She didn’t seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why? I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn’t talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Jane. I didn’t love her anymor

My Official Blog Yey!

I'm a working Mom who have an addiction for make-up, shoes, bags and everything that a girl can't resist.  You'll mostly read about make-up because I feel at peace whenever I put them on or play with them. Please leave a comment, I'd like to learn from you as well. Your's truly, Joy :)
