Bobby Brown Long-Wear Even Finish Foundation

Here's my review of the Bobby Brown Long-Wear even finish Foundation (whew! what a name). I've had this foundation since June, I've road tested it but I've only had the chance to post a full review. I expected this foundation to be lightweight, not cake-y, and oil-free.   Were my expectations met? Let me tell you... I apply foundation before going to work, I got myself the shade Beige which suits very well my skintone. I didn't expect for it to give a 12 hours coverage like what it claims but I was surprised because when I got home my face doesn't look like a mess! See how my eyes look sleepy but my face still glowing? This is how it looks after setting with powder What I like: * lightweight - I don't feel like I'm wearing a foundation * doesn't look cake-y even on humid days * it doesn't irritate my skin * Transfer proof * my face doesn't look flat upon application * it covers blemishes and pimple scar

EOTD: Bronze

I had the opportunity to do another eye make-up. I wanted to give a neutral-bronze look a try with a bit of yellow gold as a highlight. I thought I can't go out with this anywhere but I ended up going to the mall with this look. I used a pale lipstick to make the eyes the center of attention but you can also pair this with a darker shade of red or pink. I didn't know how it will end up, you just have to experiment with the lip shade. I put a very light blush on the cheeks. This eyeshadow could be worn on Christmas and New Years eve or even on Christmas party! Enjoy everyone!

EOTD: Green and Gray

Hello everyone! I'm going out with my sister today but it rained suddenly. The weather can sometimes be very unpredictable. I decided to go for the green because I want to feel a little bit of nature on my eyeshadow. I made this very subtle for a daytime look. Photos below.  I listed below the products I used. Caruso Molecular Steam Hairsetter

When I was in the Hairstyling class, we were given a list of what we're going to use during the whole duration of the course. One of these is a hairsetter. I have a Babyliss curling iron that I can use for setting but to avoid accidents like burning my models skin I decided to also get a caruso hairsetter. It was a good thing that one of my classmates know an online seller who sells Caruso, when she asked me if I would like to get one for myself I immediately said "yes". I received the set a day after my order. It comes with 30 rollers - 6 petite, 6 small, 6 medium, 6 large and 6 Jumbo, it also has a free carrying case inside! I set it for 30-45mins on my models hair to achieve the perfect curls. She asked what I did on her hair because it was soft, shiny and bouncy after setting. The molecular hair setter might have done magic on her hair *laughs*. I did her make-up while the hair sets. I was amazed by the volume and curls of her hair after setting

Learning is Fun at HD Academy

Hi everyone! I hope all of you are having a great weekend. It’s been almost 2 months since my last post and I apologize to all of you guys. I wasn’t lazy to make some blog post but I just wanted to focus on one thing if I have started doing it so the lack of post. I’m sooooo excited to announce that I graduated yesterday on the Beauty and Fashion Hairstyling Course at HD Make-up Academy . Yes I finally did it! I learned a lot of different hairstyles but I still need more   practice. They say we have to master at least 5 hairstyles that we can interchange on different clients. But if I can do more, why not right? Final pictures of the photo-shoot will come after a month but I have few snapshots to show you guys. Did I also tell you that I took their Beauty and Fashion Make-up course? I bet not but I believe I gave a hint on my last update. Anyway, I took the Make-up course in September and I graduated in October. I enrolled myself in the weekend class just so I can have more t

Liebster Award Nomination

Hello everyone! I apologize for lack of post for more than a month. I've been busy for something that I've always wanted to do ever since so I decided to focus on it. I have been nominated by my fellow blogger Infinite Elegance  for the "Liebster Award Nomination". Here are her questions (and my answers): How did you get interested in Make up?   I was 9 years old when I saw my Moms lipstick and eyeshadow in her closet. I put some of it on my face and was amazed how it made my young face prettier. I have loved make-up since then but only got addicted to it a year ago when my office mate showed me a blog site full of beauty products. I hoarded make-up since then! What are some of the staple products in your purse? I used to put everything in my make-up kit but I can't live without foundation and lipstick. What's your most expensive make up/skin care/fashion purchase so far? The most expensive skincare I have bought so far is the Cliniq

Flawless Make-up using Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream

Hello everyone! I'm left alone with my baby today so I decided to make a brief review about the BB Cream that I have been using this past few days. There have been a lot of raves on BB Cream up to this date. I am not a fan of light coverage make-up because I used to work for almost 12 hours so I thought BB creams are too light coverage for my taste. I tested few products at the counter to see their consistensy and coverage. I was looking for something affordable but promises better skin in the long run untill I come accross Etude House Precious Mineral Precious Mineral BB Cream. I've had it for a while, almost six months I guess but I don't use it on a daily basis. I still rely on foundation when I go to work. Description Precious Mineral BB Cream promotes silky complexion with pear infused sheer coverage. Contains adenosine & arbutin for anti-wrinkle & whitening efficacies. SPF for UV protection. Paraben free. Oil free. Mineral Oil free. Dermato

ELF Get the look Brown Eye Set

Hello everyone! Friday is fast approaching, if you are a working girl I'm sure most of you are busy with whatever task you have to finish. I just hope you'll catch some time to retouch or check yourselves, of course you will! I was at a Department store checking for a gift to give my sister on her 18th birthday. And what is the best gift to give to her? Of course, make-up. Me being the ever loving eldest sister she has decided to buy a make-up set. I want her to look fabulous on that special night. She will not have the grandest party but I want her to look her prettiest ever! I checked ELF for some affordable but fantastic make-up kit for her. I saw the ELF Get the Look Brown Eye set and thought that it is perfect. I don't want her to put heavy and colorful eyeshadow, this is also something she can use in School. The kit includes Eyeshadow, Liquid Eyeliner, Eyelash curler, Eyeshadow brush, and Mascara. All of these are in full size. This is definitely wo

When I play with eyeshadows - Silver, Gray and Black

Hello everyone! Weekend is fast approaching, who's up for a weekend sale? I am! I don't have anything in mind to but but I want to visit malls to see what I can get. There might be something I need that's on sale but again I'm not sure yet "laughs". Ok...enough of the mall thing. I haven't used gray and black eyeshadows in my usual office/day make-up. I don't know, I just feel a bit uncomfortable wearing them especially if the color is very pigmented. I guess I was afraid to have a big panda eye! Today, because I'm not going anywhere and I can remove my make-up anytime, I decided to be more creative with my make-up. I tried some silver and gray eyeshadows with a little bit of black. I thought I just want to see how it looks on me then erase it afterwards but I decided to make a full face. I didn't have any inspiration for making this look but I was thinking of catwoman after I applied the eyeshadows and while lining my eyes. Here's th

Nichido Color Intense Eye Pencil

Hello everyone! Would you believe I haven't taken my lunch? No, I'm not on a diet but I felt like my stomach is still full although my brain is thinking about food. Oh well..I guess I would have to eat after this post.   I love eye pencil as much as eyeshadows. There were times that I don't feel like patting on shadows just because I was so lazy to do so. For those lazy days an eye pencil is on the rescue! I was rummaging counters and counters of make-up at SM Department store for affordable eyeliner. The color should be vibrant and opaque without breaking the bank.   I saw these eyeliners lying beside eyebrow powder at Nichido counter. I have tried Nichido products before, I wasn't impressed so I'm not expecting too much from these eyepencil. I tried applying it on the back of my hand and I can’t believe how creamy they are unlike other eyeliners I have tried. I decided to buy two colors that I don't have yet.     Shading Sponge     From
