Nichido Length and Curl Mascara

I have used this Mascara  for half a year so now I think it's time to bring this baby to the spotlight. Here is another review from a local brand Nichido, this time it's a mascara. I was browsing through racks and racks of make-up looking for a perfect mascara that I can wear everyday. I don't want to spend too much for a mascara because they tend to dry up fast, that's base on experience from other mascaras I've tried. I was checking Nichido counter when the SA approached me. She gave me several mascaras to choose from. Others are just not for my liking because it doesn't hold curls or it make my eyelashes clumpy and heavy after application. She told me to try Nichido Length and Curl Mascara. She got me when she said that it doesn't  clump eyelashes and it won't dry fast. I gave it a try and I like it. It holds curl and gives additional length to my eyelashes. It has small hairs that would stick to your eyelashes for added lenght but I haven...

Avon Totally Kissable Lipstick Review

When I heard about the new line of lipstick from Avon I was totally ecstatic. I immediately called my sister and told her that I want to order. I have loved avon lipstick since I was in college. My first lipstick from this brand came from  their Colorbliss collection. I also have some of their Moisture Rich Rose lipstick which I'll be reviewing soon and Ultra Moisture  Rich lipstick. I initially ordered Pink Wink but it was Out of Stock so I ordered what Anne Curtis was wearing in the brochure - Make Out Red. They were giving free Ideal Oil Control Pressed powder when I ordered but I wasn't able to take a photo because Igave it to my sister. What a deal, right? "Full coverage color infused with fruit enzymes and a blend of natural oils. For softer, smoother, fuller lips". Make out Red - With flash I had a hard time opening the cap at first because it was tightly sealed. The packaging doesn't look cheap and I also like that it is in a silver c...

Hauls from Nichido and Fashion 21

It's been a long time since I last posted a review on this blog. I surely missed blogging. I also felt sad that I wasn't even able to greet all of you during the hollidays. I just went out of the hospital 10 days ago, you won't believe that my baby and I were in the same room and we were both confined because of pneumonia. We feel better now so there's no more to worry about. To catch up on you guys, here's a post of my new hauls just today. I just came from the mall and most of the items which got my attention come from local brands you all know Nichido and Fashion 21. These are the brands that I go to when I was in college until when I started working because they fit my budget. It wouldn't hurt much if they don't deliver as much as I expected since their prices are very much affordable. To end the surprise, here are the photos of my recent finds. Nichido True colors eyeshadow in deep Mauve-L and Bronze Eclair-R  Fashion 21 Aqualicious Lip...

Bobby Brown Long-Wear Even Finish Foundation

Here's my review of the Bobby Brown Long-Wear even finish Foundation (whew! what a name). I've had this foundation since June, I've road tested it but I've only had the chance to post a full review. I expected this foundation to be lightweight, not cake-y, and oil-free.   Were my expectations met? Let me tell you... I apply foundation before going to work, I got myself the shade Beige which suits very well my skintone. I didn't expect for it to give a 12 hours coverage like what it claims but I was surprised because when I got home my face doesn't look like a mess! See how my eyes look sleepy but my face still glowing? This is how it looks after setting with powder What I like: * lightweight - I don't feel like I'm wearing a foundation * doesn't look cake-y even on humid days * it doesn't irritate my skin * Transfer proof * my face doesn't look flat upon application * it covers blemishes and pimple scar...

EOTD: Bronze

I had the opportunity to do another eye make-up. I wanted to give a neutral-bronze look a try with a bit of yellow gold as a highlight. I thought I can't go out with this anywhere but I ended up going to the mall with this look. I used a pale lipstick to make the eyes the center of attention but you can also pair this with a darker shade of red or pink. I didn't know how it will end up, you just have to experiment with the lip shade. I put a very light blush on the cheeks. This eyeshadow could be worn on Christmas and New Years eve or even on Christmas party! Enjoy everyone!

EOTD: Green and Gray

Hello everyone! I'm going out with my sister today but it rained suddenly. The weather can sometimes be very unpredictable. Caruso Molecular Steam Hairsetter

When I was in the Hairstyling class, we were given a list of what we're going to use during the whole duration of the course. One of these is a hairsetter. I have a Babyliss curling iron that I can use for setting but to avoid accidents like burning my models skin I decided to also get a caruso hairsetter. It was a good thing that one of my classmates know an online seller who sells Caruso, when she asked me if I would like to get one for myself I immediately said "yes". I received the set a day after my order. It comes with 30 rollers - 6 petite, 6 small, 6 medium, 6 large and 6 Jumbo, it also has a free carrying case inside! I set it for 30-45mins on my models hair to achieve the perfect curls. She asked what I did on her hair because it was soft, shiny and bouncy after setting. The molecular hair setter might have done magic on her hair *laughs*. I did her make-up while the hair sets. I was amazed by the volume and curls of her hai...
