Maybelline Clear Smooth B.B Stick

Hi Lovely ladies! It's been weeks or month since my last post, I've been pre-occupied with a lot of things but I always kept thinking about this blog and my readers. It's a sunny Thursday today and I'm hoping all of you are having a good day. I can't believe how time pass by so fast.
Today I'm going to review a product by Maybelline called Clear Smooth B.B Stick. I've had this for more than a month and I use it when I'm going to the mall or just at home.

I saw this babe when I was already making a payment at Watsons. It got my attention because I've never seen a B.B Cream made just like this. I know BB creams are in liquid form like foundation and I've seen a foundation stick but not BB Stick like this one.

Maybelline claims:

Clear Smooth BB Stick is a multi-benefit product that combines the benefits of skin care, make-up, and sun block in a stick. It contains salicylic acid that helps clear away pores and imperfections, and mineral clay that helps control shine all day. Dermatologically tested. Recommended for oily or combination skin. Suitable for sensitive and acne-prone skin.

8-IN-1 BENEFITS:
  • Controls shine - Mineral clay formula helps keep skin shine-free all day
  • Lasts all day - Powder finish resists sweat and sebum for up to 12 hours
  • Clears - Reduces the appearance of dark spots, redness, fine lines, and wrinkles
  • Refines - Reduces the appearance of pores
  • Conceals - Instantly hides flaws and imperfections
  • Evens - Corrects uneven skin tone
  • Smoothens - Makes skin feel smooth, soft, and supple
  • Protects - SPF 21/PA+++ protects against harmful UVA and UVB rays
Who wouldn't like the 8-in-1 benefits?

The packaging is simple which has the information about the product on the back. I got the shade called Radiance which suits my skintone. The other shade is called Fresh which is lighter on my skin.

I immediately tried it on my face when I got home. I put it directly from the stick on to my face after washing, toning and moisturizing. I have oily skin that's why I didn't have a hard time blending it. I used the elf powder brush and my fingers for blending. It blends on my skin perfectly and I didn't look like I have anything on my face but I always put powder to set. It feels powdery on the skin after blending so I think it would suit girls with oily skin than dry. Girls with dry skin can still use it but a moisturizer is a must! It lightly covers dark spot and blemishes. The produstc stays on my face for 2-3 hours which is not bad if I'm just going around the mall or will just have lunch with my husband.

Overall, I like the Maybelline Clear Smooth B.B Stick. I use it on days when I want my skin to breath or if I didn't want to put foundation. It's very convenient and easy to cary around.

The Maybelline Clear Smooth BB Stick is available at watsons and any Maybelline stall for PHP249.00

Aido Classic Lipstick Review

Hello pretty ladies! Have you heard before about the local brand called Aido? I used to call it "I do" just because I want to make fun of myself and that makes the brand sounds a little bit more interesting hihihi. I was checking Fashion 21 cosmetics because I needed to buy new powder foundation. I noticed the lipsticks from Aido sitting there on Fashion 21 stall, that's when I realized they don't have their own. I swatched some of the colors specifically the pink ones because I'm looking for another pink lipstick and the color that I want from Maybelline is not yet available here in the Philippines. Instead of just swatching pinks I found myself checking as well the other shades but I ended up buying the shades N, K and B. It  doesn't sound good when lipsticks are named by letters, don't you think? The packaging looks like the old packaging of a lipstick that my Mom used to wear but it doesn't look cheap to me at all, in fact it reminds me Mode

New Bath Companion from Watsons

Who doesn't love taking a bath? I live in the Philippines where it's very humid and the temperature can go up to 60 degree Celsius or even higher during summer. I have bath-time essentials which I use on a daily basis. I just recently run-out of my favorite body wash from The body shop, I first thought of buying new ones from Daiso just to give it a try but I decided to check Watson's first. I know they have body essentials like lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and even mouthwash at a very reasonable price. Some items are on Buy-one Get-one promo. Watson's carry a lot of different products from head to toe. I have tried their mouthwash and Hair Spa. I must say that they work perfectly the same as the other brands with a higher price tag because of the expensive commercials and advertisements. My husband and I still use their mouthwash until now. Here are my new bath-time companion from Watson's. I currently use this deep moisturizing
